SCA Bay Area Crew Leader Positions

The SCA Summer Program offers an opportunity to:
 
Work outdoors on conservation projects in a local park Develop leadership skills
Make new friends from around the Bay Area
Gain experience in outdoor camping & recreation
Receive a $1,200 stipend
 
 

     Who Should Apply?

  • Youth between the ages of 15-19
  • Priority is given to youth with financial need
  • Applicants who are enthusiastic about working outdoors and interested in learning about the environment!
  • Must be able to legally work in the US
 
 
 
 
What is the process to become a
Summer Crew Member?
  • Submit an online application
  • Selected applicants will then be invited to an interview
  • Complete online profile and medical history form
  • Complete background check (if 18+)
 

About Bay Area Community Crew 2010-2011

Summer Program Schedule

This is a fulltime commitment (40hours/week) for 5 weeks ranging from early July to Mid-August

Monday - Thursday: Working on conservation projects in a local park

Friday: Participate in environmental education activities

*There will be one recreational camping trip for 2 nights towards the middle of the program
